I want to pierce my cartilage?

Hi!
I already thought about piercing my cartilage. I don’t wanna have it done by gun, i think this is much too dangerous. where i live we only have on piercing studio, and i was told that it’s not so hygienic. so yesterday i took a safety needle (i know, very studpid of me) and a earring what i had when i got my lobes first. i put them in a glass of vodka to clean, and numbed my ear with to platic ice cubes for 5 minutes. then i took out the needle and the earring and cleaned my ear with cedium, some kind of desinfectant spray. then i pushed. i just got through the first part of skin, i didn’t got the needle through the cartilage. today i’ll get some steril needles from the hospital, and i’ll try again. can someone tell me how to proceed that it’ll work this time?

You don’t want to go to the gun (yay) because it’s too dangerous but you’re willing to shove a safety pin through it? Yeah, just as dangerous. Vodka does NOT sterilize a safety pin.

Just find a piercing place outside of where you live that is good. Don’t pierce yourself. Even if the needles are sterilized the jewelry you have probably is not and neither is the environment that you’ll be doing the piercing in. There’s just a lot of things that could go wrong. Find a proper piercer.
