Is abaya or jilbab honestly necessary? Am I breaking the modesty line?

I donot oppose abaya or jilbab or anyone who believes in it and chooses to wear it, I happen to find that western clothing can fit up to Islam’s standards in terms of everything from modesty to color. Western clothing is not mention more comfortable for movement, ease, and climate, since I happen to live in hot, humid climate. When I choose to wear western clothing I wear hijab and always keep modesty in mind. For example I will wear a blouse that reveals nothing no cleavage, nor my back and it will have to be loose and long enough to cover my back. Another example is I will only wear boot cut pants that are loose enough to Islam’s standards. And if I happen to wear skinny jeans I will wear a blouse long enough to cover what must not be revealed. and as far as color goes nothing to bright or flashy that should attract attention. So where does the modesty line end in terms of western clothing? And am I breaking the modesty line? If you think so feel free to say so.

You are dressing by the standards of Islam…you mentioned no tight/revealing clothing so that’s good. Abaya and jilbab are not necessary since you are not breaking the modesty line. Salaam =)
