fake ear spacers?

this may seem like a dumb question but i just got both my ears pierced and one of my friends had these earrings that looked like big giant black spacers but when he took them out they were actually just regular earrings that had small posts. so basically they were just really big stud earrings that covered his hole earlobe and were completly jet black and looked like spacers. if anyone knows were to get these please let me know. i just dont want to go through stretching my ear lobes like mad to get them and then regret it in the future. thanks alot for your help
